According to a recent study, Karnataka has been ranked as India?s top job creating state . Within Karnataka, ITES accounted for over 65% in job openings. Bangalore, the silicon valley of India, has once again emerged as the topper in commercial office space. There is an obvious correlation between job creation and commercial real estate as well as the preparedness of the city to attract talent, as cities have now evolved as potential destinations for attracting business from within and outside India.
I call Bangalore home now, and I must admit that Bangalore, despite its limitations, is a very adaptive city. It grows and evolves and tries to meet the changing demands of the occupiers. From a pensioner?s paradise to Silicon Valley to Start-up hub, Bangalore continues to transform itself. As I have expressed previously, Bangalore has the potential to develop into a smart sustainable urban destination.
